World Spa Awards has touched down at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay in Vietnam, ahead of its 2017 Gala Ceremony.
An extensive weekend programme is in place which will see the elite of the spa industry invited to engage in an Aromotherapy Associates Sleep Workshop; a talk by one of the leading innovators in skincare, Dr Erich Schulte; and to enjoy a complimentary manicure and pedicure from therapists trained by Bastien Gonzalez – a French podiatrist and famed celebrity pedicurist.
Furthermore, delegates are invited to gather together on Saturday, December 9th, for an evening of unrivalled networking and drinks.
The highlight of the weekend, will of course, be the glittering World Spa Awards Gala Ceremony itself which will take place alongside the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2017 on the evening of Sunday, December 10th, at the luxury five-star beach resort – welcoming hundreds of spa, hospitality and tourism leaders from across the region and around the world.
World Spa Awards managing director, Rebecca Cohen, said: “We’re tremendously excited to be staging the World Spa Awards in Vietnam at the incredible JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay – and this year’s event promises to be the biggest yet.
“It will be an absolute pleasure to welcome the leaders of the international spa and wellness industry, as we host the third annual World Spa Awards Gala Ceremony where the highly anticipated winners will be announced.”
Enviably situated on the pristine island of Phu Quoc – a lush, hidden paradise off the southern coast of Vietnam – JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay transports guests back to the bygone era of the early 20th century, with Bill Bensley’s whimsical design of a mythical academy of Lamarck University offering a world of fantasies, and JW Marriott’s legendary services with exquisite detail evident throughout the property.
However, the standout at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay is without a doubt the resort’s flagship spa, Chanterelle – Spa by JW, with unique mushroom-themed design as references from Alice in Wonderland, offering an unconventional guest journey and an unparalleled experience in an imaginative space.
The spa boasts a VIP treatment room with its own luxurious bath, sauna and steam room, seven treatment rooms and one VIP treatment room, two reflexology rooms, two express treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room and a beauty salon.
