Hilton has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu – Longquanyi, the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Chengdu.
DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu – Longquanyi is owned by Chengdu Baicheng Investment Company and managed by Hilton, and is designed to meet the growing demand for premium, international accommodations in eastern Chengdu.
Located in the heart of a nationally designated economic and technological development zone, the hotel offers easy access to the Chengdu Longquan Automobile City and other important business and industry centres.
Plans are already laid for the construction of an integrated business district to be built up around the hotel.
Furthermore, it is only 15 kilometres to downtown Chengdu, 26 kilometres to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, and eight kilometres to Chengdu East Railway Station.
“As we continue with our strategic expansion in Chengdu, we are very pleased to have this new addition to our brand portfolio,” said Qian Jin, area president, Greater China and Mongolia, Hilton.
“DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu – Longquanyi is the fourth hotel in Chengdu, and represents the city’s fourth Hilton hotel brand.
“We are now fully prepared to meet the needs of different types of guests in the area.”
The hotel features 394 guest rooms, including 48 well-appointed, full-service apartments.
The guest rooms start from 38 square meters of comfortable living space, and offer spectacular views of natural scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Guests can enjoy full access to the 24-hour fitness centre, equipped with high-end LifeFitness strength-training equipment, a 100 square meters indoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi and other facilities for health and relaxation.
