Abercrombie & Kent has announced James Treacy has joined the luxury tour operator to further develop its media and PR strategies in the UK.
Treacy comes with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the past three and a half years working for Tourism Australia in London – working on the national tourist offices press, advocacy, events and broadcast campaigns.
Formerly he worked in an agency working on the Air New Zealand, Secret Escapes, and L’Oréal accounts.
Treacy reports into marketing director, Lisa Warner, who joined the company a year previous.
“A&K have been pioneering the travel industry for over 50 years.
“There’s nothing DIY about their holidays and it’s an exciting time to join such an innovative company with ambitious plans ahead,” Commented Treacy on joining the team.
