Austrian Airlines has completed the installation of its new Premium Economy Class.
All eleven long-haul aircraft in the fleet were refitted and now include the new travel class.
A total of 228 premium economy seats were installed.
The twelfth long-haul jet, which Austrian Airlines will integrate into its fleet in the spring of 2018, will also be equipped with the new cabin.
The seats, produced specially for the Lufthansa Group, are supplied by the aircraft seat manufacturer ZIM and provide passengers with plenty of legroom based on seat spacing of up to 38 inches.
Additional footrests are designed to take the strain off passengers’ legs during a long flight and the central armrest, with fold-out table between the seats and a personal, broad armrest for every guest, enables greater privacy and more room on the side.
Furthermore, every seat is equipped with its own power outlet and USB port.
