InterContinental London Park Lane launches The Capital Suite | News

The first business suite of its kind, The Capital Suite offers intelligent design, allowing various areas of the suite to be separated based on the guests’ needs and desires, in addition to a separate entrance into the hotel and a private lift.

The new suite, situated on the first floor of the InterContinental London Park Lane, is the ultimate abode for the international business and leisure traveller alike, with a full-size boardroom, luxurious private office and multiple en-suite bedrooms.

In its prime location in central London and boasting state of art facilities, the 335sqm suite created by RPW Design, draws inspiration from Hyde Park, the nature and history surrounding the hotel and its storied location.

Designed with the modern-day traveller in mind, the Suite provides the perfect setting for guests wishing to make the most out of their trip to London by fulfilling desires and duties of both business and leisure.

The Capital Suite features two private, spacious en-suite bedrooms complemented by interconnecting living spaces that can be ingeniously separated, to ensure ultimate privacy for individual areas, whatever the use of the suite.

Guests initially staying to conduct business meetings can extend their stay, and invite family or friends to join them in the large second bedroom, which can be separated from the meeting room spaces.

Likewise, guests residing in the suite to enjoy all the capital city has to offer can have the flexibility of having the quick, discreet business meeting.

The Boardroom is a unique feature to the suite as it can be directly accessed through a private corridor, lift and entrance, and can be easily interconnected with any other rooms.

On the opposite side a private office and additional meeting room have been created, which can be linked to the Boardroom, hence creating a fully equipped boutique office within the InterContinental London Park Lane.

This specific combination of work and living spaces has successfully created a versatile space that affords the highest level of privacy with multiple luxury living and working facilities.

The Capital Suite takes its name from the hotel’s iconic setting in London, a global leader in both commerce and culture, and the Capital Suite embodies both aspects of the effervescent city.

Paying homage to the historical site, rooms within the suite have been named after the surrounding areas of Hamilton Place and the magnificent Wellington Arch, which once stood as a grand entrance to our capital city.

The suite offers unparalleled views out onto the Arch and Green Park.

In the master bedroom design touches include decorative bronze panels, which frame the bed by resembling windows with climbing foliage and songbirds.

RPW Design worked alongside world renowned Art Consultant Peter Millard to resource bespoke artworks that function as intriguing windows into an artistic interpretation of the theme.

An example is the resin sculpture on the bathroom mirror that evokes the Serpentine through the exploration of form, movement and materials.

Suite guests can enjoy a complimentary personal Butler Service and luxurious toiletries, in addition to award winning restaurant Theo Randall at the InterContinental and Ella Canta, the new upscale Mexican restaurant from acclaimed Mexican chef Martha Ortiz.
