TUI rolls-out chat function on customer app | News


TUI is leading the way for holidaymakers to be able to reach out to a TUI trained local expert while on holiday.

Whether it’s to ask what time their coach pick up is or find out about the excursions on offer, they can do so from the comfort of their sunbed or while strolling to dinner via the brand new direct messaging service on the TUI app.

As of this summer customers can now directly chat to a TUI rep, or find out frequently asked questions such as transfer times, excursions and local tips when on holiday through a brand-new function on the app.

TUI is using its destination team to man this service, a combination of the reps in resort and the TUI Service Centre.

The service centre based in Palma has a team of 220 multinational staff who will be there to answer any questions that come through on the new chat service 24/7 a day, 365 days of the year.

This new service means that TUI customers can speak to a trained expert when on their holidays.

The expert will be able to answer any question around any destination TUI travels to.

Customers can use this service to take care of anything that may happen during their holiday or to solve any upcoming issues on the spot.

The team speak multiple languages between them in order to be able to assist TUI customers around the world.

Ian Chapman, regional director of the west Mediterranean for TUI Group, said: “This new chat function, facilitated by the team at our TUI Service Centre, makes it so simple for holidaymakers to contact us when on holiday, whether that it by call, text, email and new for this year the in app chat service.

“Our customers tell us that they really value our amazing reps in our destinations so by having this chat service it means that our teams in resort and the TUI Service centre will be available to help our customers around that clock during their holiday.”
