Saudi Arabian Airlines rolls out Wi-Fi across network | News

Saudi Arabian Airlines now offers guests flying to 47 international destinations the option to connect onto its Wi-Fi service.

On six of these routes, to Los Angeles, Washington, New York, London Heathrow, Manchester and Dubai, passengers in Guest Class (Economy) can access complimentary Wi-Fi for a 20 minute segment, after which several packages are available for purchase.

Guests travelling in First and Business Class will receive a complimentary Wi-Fi session on all 47 routes (quota provided varies by route).

Packages may be purchased in advance of travel, with a code sent directly by email and to a mobile device, or passengers may use their e-ticket number as the Wi-Fi access code.

The options provide valuable solutions for guests who wish to casually surf the net, or be connected throughout their journey.

The on-board Wi-Fi experience is simple and easy-to-use with a two-step login process which the guest can selects upon choosing their desired package.

Saudia utilises the StationAir system – an inflight Wi-Fi hub providing seamless inflight internet connectivity to travellers.

The user-experience has been enhanced with faster speeds, a new sleeker, more intuitive design, with improved navigation and user interface.

Saudi Arabian Airlines is currently in its 72nd year of operations and is a member of the International Air Transport Association and the Arab Air Carriers Organisation.
