Luxury boutique London hotel Flemings Mayfair has appointed Paul Rafferty as hotel manager, a brand new position within the company.
Joining Flemings in 2013 as rooms division manager, Rafferty brought a wealth of experience from previous positions including front of house manager at the Courthouse Hotel where he supervised hotel re-branding.
He has also held the position of reception manager at Sofitel London Heathrow, where he acted as head of department.
Rafferty will now be accountable for the smooth running of operations as well as introducing new and existing clients.
He will also act as deputy for the general manager, Henrik Muehle, and work closely with Michelin-awarded chef Shaun Rankin and his team at the hotel’s destination restaurant, Ormer Mayfair.
Rafferty commented: “After four years at Flemings, I am hugely excited to be stepping into this new role at the hotel.
“With the help of my team, I will ensure we maintain an unparalleled level of customer service and I look forward to finding new ways to innovate personalised guest experiences.”
Founded in 1851 and converted from 13 Georgian townhouses, Flemings Mayfair offers unrivalled luxury accommodation in one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods.
The family-owned property is a leading member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and boasts 129-room new-look bedrooms, suites and townhouse apartments, as well as a Drawing Room, restaurant and bar, as part of a £16 million refurbishment.
