LATAM Airlines Peru announced today that it will operate non-stop flights between Cusco and Pisco, Peru, from June 14th/
Subject to regulatory approval, the flight will operate on Thursday and Sunday on a seasonal basis until the end of November 2018, with tickets on sale from today.
“This is the third interregional route that LATAM has announced from Cusco this year and represents our commitment to improving connectivity in Peru as well as providing passengers with travel options and varied itineraries to suit their needs,” said Félix Antelo, general manager, LATAM Airlines Peru.
The Cusco-Pisco service will complement LATAM’s new Cusco-Trujillo and Cusco-Iquitos routes, which will also operate on a seasonal basis between July and November 2018, enabling passengers to travel directly between Peru’s principal tourist destinations without needing to connect via Lima.
“Many of Peru’s international tourists visit the historic city of Cusco and nearby UNESCO world heritage site, Machu Picchu.
“Currently, those wanting to travel to other destinations in Peru have to travel via Lima, but with these new flights we will provide more convenient access to some of the other unique attractions that the country has to offer.”
LATAM will offer up to an average of 23 daily flights between its Lima hub and Cusco during July-November 2018, when the seasonal flights from Cusco are in operation.
