Priceless rare and classic cars will take to the roads of Malta next week in a four-day annual celebration of vintage four-wheeled vehicles.

The 2017 Malta Classic takes place October 5th-8th with over 70 pre-1976 cars taking part in hill climb, static shows and motorsport events.

A new addition this year is a selection of 80s super cars and rally car legends.

The event incorporates the Mdina Grand Prix which this year will see rare Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Aston Martin models take part.

Tight bends, sweeping curves and inclines through valleys, vineyards and terraced hills will test the drivers and their racing automobiles.

Not to be outdone, guests at Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in San Anton can enjoy a similar experience, driving through Malta’s stunning scenery and rugged coastline from the comfort of their very own classic car.

The hotel’s Vintage Car Ride package includes a private guide, a two-hour car ride, overnight accommodation for two in one of the hotel’s double deluxe rooms, and a lavish breakfast.

Moreover, the same classic style can be found at the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa.

It is the same vintage as some of the cars, having opened in 1962 as one of the island’s first upmarket restaurants.

A few years later an adjoining hotel was built in the property’s extensive grounds and this was the start of what has become a global collection of luxury, five-star hotels, named after the iconic Corinthian columns of the original restaurant.
