Meliá Hotels International has announced the newest addition to its UK portfolio, the Innside Liverpool.
The hotel will join four properties already operated in the UK by the brand, ME London, Meliá White House, Innside Manchester, and the upcoming Innside Newcastle, in what is proving to be an increasingly key market for the company.
Innside by Meliá specialises in creating urban lifestyle hotels for both business and leisure travel, combining informal yet efficient service, smart technology, unrivalled city knowledge and a relaxed environment.
Innside Liverpool will help the brand consolidate its presence in the UK following the success of Innside Manchester which has become a benchmark property for urban lifestyle hotel brands in the country.
Innside Liverpool will have its own architectural identity, forming part of a new development close to the River Mersey, only located only five minutes from the port and a seven-minute walk from the historic city centre.
The hotel will open in 2019, with 200 rooms, fitness facilities and meeting spaces, as well as a spectacular rooftop restaurant.
Gabriel Escarrer, chief executive, Meliá Hotels International, said of the partnership: “Of all of our brands, Innside by Meliá has had the strongest growth over the past five years due to its international appeal.
“This has attracted investors and hotel owners from all over the world to the brand.
“Innside Liverpool will be an attractive new resort for the city and we are excited to partner with Trinity Group and Trinistar Liverpool.
“We share important values, such as a focus on innovation and excellence, and are pleased to be collaborating on this exciting new signing.”
