As part of a multi-million-pound investment, Glasgow’s five-star Blythswood Square Hotel has unveiled its refreshed and reimagined guest rooms and suites as it reaches a major milestone in its refurbishment.
Work at the world-renowned hotel continues with guest rooms being the first area to be completed with brand new furniture and interior design from independent design studio Graven Images.
With subtle luxury at heart, each guest room is now a sophisticated sanctuary and has been tastefully redecorated to feature marble bathrooms and a host of modern amenities – helping to maintain Blythswood Square Hotel’s reputation as the most prestigious hotel in the city.
The refurbishment sees the creation of a new, two-bedroom penthouse suite, plus a new design for all entry level, deluxe and Georgian bedrooms as well as the addition of 12 exceptional new guest rooms.
Elsewhere in the hotel, the Restaurant will also undergo refurbishment as well as the popular first-floor Salon bar.
The award-winning spa has also enjoyed an upgrade as part of the works with the creation of a brand-new Spa Café, so guests can indulge in afternoon tea and light snacks in the comfort of their robes.
Murray Thomson, general manager, Blythswood Square Hotel, said: “I am thrilled to present our newly-refurbished guest bedrooms, which have been finished to an exceptional standard in keeping with our reputation and, of course, the expectations of our guests.
“We are committed to offering our guests an unrivalled five-star experience and this new multi-million-pound investment allows us to do just that.
“We are incredibly excited about unveiling the new look and can’t wait to welcome new and regular visitors as we showcase the best hospitality Scotland has to offer.
Overlooking a private garden square in the heart of the city centre, the hotel’s Georgian townhouses were originally home to wealthy merchants and were later turned into the club headquarters for The Royal Scottish Automobile Club.
