The first all new Austrian Airlines Senator Lounge, displaying the airlines’ new design concept, has opened to the public in Vienna.
The two main themes highlight the country of Austria, as well as individuality, and are present throughout the overall concept in the renovated lounge
Prior to this, two of Austrian’s business class lounges has already been upgraded using the new designs.
In line with the new design concept, real trees are a feature in the Senator Lounges.
The trees depict Austrian beech trees and are preserved using a special technique.
In addition to customised furniture from Austria, as well as a new textile concept highlighting individually-designed carpets and curtains, the lounges will also feature selected prints from pictures created by Austrian artists, such as Gustav Klimt.
In 2017, a total 630,000 passengers experienced Austrian Airlines’ lounges at Vienna Airport.
