Christine Sutton has been appointed to the position of senior vice president, United States, for STA Travel.
In this role, Sutton will be responsible for the management and strategy of the US division of the company.
Since joining STA Travel in July 2015, she has managed the US product and marketing teams and fostered strong supplier relations.
Sutton has always worked in the travel industry, beginning her career as a travel consultant at Austravel, then joining Emirates Airline where she spent 14 years in various account management roles, that included leading the leisure sales team in the UK.
STA Travel is the world’s largest student and youth travel company, enabling young adults to explore the world since 1979 by creating experiences filled with adventure, discovery and personal growth.
STA Travel has more than 2,000 people in over 200 stores in 11 countries, and sends more than two million passengers away each year on life-changing adventures.
