The Hong Kong Tourism Board has announced the launch of live chat support on its PartnerNet website.
The new addition will enable travel agents to enjoy instant support via live chat during Hong Kong office hours only (01:00-09:30 UK time) when the UK team is not available.
The new feature allows the tourism board to provide a total of 16 hours of support a day to the British travel partners.
Dawn Page, director, UK & Northern Europe, Hong Kong Tourism Board, commented: “We are delighted to provide even more hours of support to our travel partners with the introduction of live chat, enabling us to respond quickly to any travel queries regarding Hong Kong.”
Alongside the travel agent chat support, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has announced a consumer facing mobile chat function to assist with holiday planning.
The desktop version of the consumer live chat function will launch on April 10th.
