easyJet unveils 21 new routes for winter season | News


easyJet has announced it will operate 21 new routes this winter including four new destinations.

Aqaba in Jordan, Rovaniemi, Finland, Warsaw, Poland and Pau Pyrenees in France are among the collection of new routes which went on sale today. 

The new routes will provide over 800,000 additional seats across the entire easyJet network.

easyJet becomes the only UK airline offering direct flights to Aqaba – a historic port city on the Red Sea’s Gulf of Aqaba and popular with beach and scuba diving enthusiasts alike.

easyJet will commence its first weekly flight from London Gatwick airport on November 10th with over 8,000 passengers expected to fly throughout the winter.

easyJet has announced today it is connecting the Polish capital Warsaw for the first time with four flights a week from Gatwick and has also added new route to the Pyrenees from Paris.

The ‘official’ home town of Santa Claus in Lapland has now been connected this Christmas to fly thousands of children to visit Santa.

Rovaniemi will be served by easyJet from October 31st with flights on sale now and will operate twice weekly on Wednesday and Sunday.

The new service is expected to carry more than 13,000 customers in the first winter of operation.
