Jamaican resort GoldenEye has announced a soft refurbishment of its FieldSpa.
The new facility is set to be unveiled in December 2018.
As part of the six-month development, two additional spa huts designed by Chris Blackwell will open bringing the total number of treatment rooms to five.
One new spa hut will be designed to accommodate couples’ treatments while the other will be for individual treatments.
A new hammam and yoga deck overlooking the serene lagoon will also be built.
This special spot is breath-taking at sunrise and will also be available for night yoga and meditation by candlelight.
Following the expansion, the spa will provide direct access to the new spa cove flanked with stone terracing and rock cliffs offering guests a quiet space for sunbathers, post treatment dips, and aqua fitness nestled along the property’s signature lagoon.
Guests will be able to swim or paddleboard to their treatment.
The FieldSpa will become the new base for weekly complimentary yoga, with classes for children as well.
All Spa treatments including massages, scrubs, wraps, facials and bush baths will be offered in the spa huts both existing and new.
A new therapy menu, including offerings incorporating the lagoon, will be introduced. The Spa products will continue to be mainly locally sourced, alongside the OSEA products currently used for facials.
