Responding to the increase in demand for air travel between the UK and India, Jet Airways commenced its new third daily service from London Heathrow to Mumbai.
Jet Airways is the first Indian carrier to operate three daily flights between UKs capital city and Mumbai; India’s economic and financial capital.
The new service complements the airline’s existing daily operations from London Heathrow to its hubs at Mumbai and Delhi in India, boosting its capacity by nearly a third.
It will also enable the airline to capitalise on the steadily growing round-the-year demand on the highly popular sector, offering guests, greater flexibility and choice throughout the day, and helping create a far superior and well-differentiated travel experience for them.
Flight 9W 115 will depart daily from London Heathrow at 15:55, arriving in Mumbai at 06:20 hrs, giving Jet Airways’ guests the opportunity to utilise a full business day in Mumbai.
Speaking on the launch of its latest service, Vinay Dube, chief executive, Jet Airways, said: “We are delighted to introduce our third daily, non-stop service between London Heathrow and Mumbai.
“The new service will offer guests an unparalleled choice in the form of more than 1,000 seats daily, on this rapidly growing route.
“The frequency of service also provides our guests a multiple choice of time schedules to suit their needs.
“We are confident that our well-differentiated product and exceptional focus on service, together with greater convenience and seamless connectivity will find strong resonance with guests.”
