Ryanair launches new Malta-Jordan connection | News


Ryanair has announced a new route from Malta to Amman, Jordan.

The departure will be the low-cost carrier’s 62nd route from Malta, with a twice weekly service commencing in April.

The airline hopes its combined operations out of Valetta will deliver 3.1 million customers next year, an increase of 15 per cent on 2018 figures.

In addition to these 62 Summer 2019 routes, Ryanair recently launched a new flight partnership with Air Malta, which will visitors to book flights from the flag-carrier on the Ryanair website.

Customers can browse and book Air Malta flights on 21 routes from Malta to eight different countries across Africa, Asia and Europe, including Russia and Tunisia.

Ryanair chief commercial officer, David O’Brien, said: “Ryanair is pleased to announce a brand-new route from Malta to Amman, Jordan starting in April, which will operate twice-weekly as part of our biggest ever Malta summer schedule.

“We are delighted to further strengthen our cooperation with the Malta Tourism Authority.

“This new route from Amman further promotes Maltese tourism and now introduces guests from 21 different countries to one of the most attractive sun destinations in the world.”
