Marriott International has appointed Sawanee Areephan to the role of general manager at Marriott Executive Apartments Mayfair Bangkok.
Areephan brings with her a wealth of work experiences from leading international hotels in Thailand, Dubai and Malaysia.
She joined Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok in 1997 before moving to Sheraton Deira Hotel in Dubai and Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
In late 2011, Areephan was invited back to Thailand for the opening and brand conversion project of The Naka Island, Phuket where she held the position of hotel manager, before joining W Bangkok in the same position.
Prior to joining Marriott International, Areephan held the position of general manager at Le Méridien Koh Samui Resort & Spa, where she successfully managed the property to be an outstanding five-star hotel that delivers a new perspective to customers with a strong focus on contemporary art and cuisine.
