Fowler takes up marketing role with Azamara Club in UK | News

Azamara Club Cruises has revealed that Sarah Fowler has been appointed head of marketing and PR for the UK.

Fowler joins Azamara from Explore Worldwide, the adventure travel tour operator, where she has worked since 2015 as head of marketing, heading up a team of 12 people across digital, brand, PR, partnerships, trade sales and CRM.

Prior to this, Fowler held a senior marketing position at Merlin Entertainments where she spearheaded the launch of a new website and ecommerce platform and devised an online pricing model that delivered 30 per cent year-on-year uplift in revenue.

Previous roles include acquisition marketing at animal welfare charity, Compassion in World Farming, and theatre marketing for touring plays and musicals at Bill Kenwright.

Fowler will be based at the Azamara UK head office, part of Royal Caribbean Cruises, in Weybridge, Surrey and will lead the marketing and PR efforts for the brand’s three ships.

She will play a key role in the launch of Azamara Pursuit, which will join the line’s existing two-ship fleet in August 2018, after being transformed to be almost identical to its sister ships Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey.
